I have been a lucky girl this year; I feel well and truly spoiled and privileged to be able to have what I want. Since as my birthday is unbelievably near Christmas (3rd January), I usually get a lot of things combined together. I don’t bother as much with my birthday as much as I do with Christmas, as Mr T would say ‘It’s just another day’
Deck the halls with boughs of holly la la la la la la la. It’s approaching that time of year again it’s Christmas this has to be my favourite holiday I get super excited about it. Christmas time is the one time the year I can really go mad.
10 favourite nail polishes for the season Nail polish used to be a thing I was obsessed with, I had tonnes of different colours and finishes and would spend hours painting my nails so they looked perfect. I am sad to say that after the birth of my second child, the nail polish addiction fell…
I have been trying to resist the temptation to buy any more eyeshadow, again I feel like I failed miserably at this because I didn’t just buy one eyeshadow palette from Tam Beauty, I bought three. Tam beauty is the collective name for many makeup brands such as Makeup Revolution, Freedom and Makeup Obsession and they are pioneering the market when it comes to good quality makeup that is on trend for a fraction of the price of the higher end brands.
Don’t you just love a bit of Primark?
I have been at it again, I saw an opportunity when buying children’s birthday presents to have a cheeky nip into Primark and have a gander at their makeup section.
Makeup can be so disappointing sometimes
After doing my ‘5 Ride or Die products’ post recently, it got me thinking; what about the products that were a letdown? We all know this feeling; you buy a new product in eagerness, either due to the good reviews or the hype surrounding them, you get home and start giving it a test run, only to discover that the product is a complete flop
I feel like my lipstick addiction goes into overdrive as soon as autumn begins. I usually enjoy eyeshadow in the spring and summer and tend to go light on the lippy but as soon as the weather turns and September comes I am all for a bold lip.
Why bother with skincare?
I used to be well and truly a hot mess when it came to looking after myself, I still am to a certain extent. However, re-discovering my love of makeup made me take more notice of myself, especially in the area of skincare.
What’s ride or die
Have you ever had a product that you couldn’t live without? That one product that is perfect for you? If the answer is yes then you have a ‘Ride or Die’ product. Put simply a ‘ride or die’ product is a thing that you cannot live without, it is a favourite. I have been a makeup addict for just over two years and I have tried my fair share of different makeup along the way, there are a few that have made such a good impression that they have stayed with me and become firm favourites.
I am revisiting the days of my childhood; maybe it is my premature mid-life crisis at work or I have fallen well and truly off my rocker but I have been indulging in my love for ‘My Little Pony’. I used the excuse of going back to work after the summer holidays, as I am a teacher, to purchase some new stationery because who doesn’t need lots of pens and notebooks on their first week back to school?
I know it wasn’t long since I did my ‘Sugarpill haul’ but I was meeting up with my very dear friend who I used to work with and we decided to take a trip into Manchester for a spot of shopping and lunch, how could I refuse that proposition?
My name is Mrs T and I have an addiction to confess of which I have been trying to detox from for the past few months. I have been, for the past two years, addicted to shopping on Beauty Bay.
