Be Barefaced; Brand Focus Review

How I discovered Be Barefaced?

I was on the hunt for a facial oil and discovered Be Barefaced. I was talking to a friend who is addicted to skin care on a women’s Facebook group and she quickly recommended Be Barefaced.

She told me I could buy their products on Amazon. Being an Amazon prime member meant I could try it out the next day. I added the oil as quick as a makeup addict at a makeup sale and eagerly waited.

The oil arrived and transformed my skincare routine. I love the oil so much I was using it day and night. Subsequently, I looked into  Be Barefaced and the more I found out the more I knew I needed more of their products.
I much prefer to spend my money on independent businesses that are based in the U.K. Something in me feels like I am shopping more ethically that way.

Who is Be Barefaced?

This is what I found about Be Barefaced on their website. This is taken from their about us page and sums up their background.

A tiny loft apartment in the centre of south London’s chaotic borough of Brixton may seem like an unlikely place to discover a range of natural ingredients led skincare but that’s precisely where BeBarefaced was born. Living in a polluted city our ambition to create a line of naturally crafted and antioxidant-enriched products came to life. Our high performing ranges focus on carefully selected natural ingredients combined with antioxidants and essential oils, ensuring that our products are honest, natural and effective.

While we may appear playful we take our formulations very seriously. We are dedicated to crafting formulas that are 100% free from parabens, sulfates, and artificial colours. If we don’t think it’s natural and doing some good then we don’t add it in.
The skin acts as a barrier between the environment and our bodies. We believe in beauty with no nasties, because it’s a well-known fact what goes on your skin gets absorbed into your body. Our products are purified and tested to ensure that they deliver category-leading performance and are worthy of your trust.

Products I have used.

Since I first discovered Be Barefaced I have tried three of their products so far. I will run through these products and give you my opinion on them. If I try any more products which I intend to I will add them to this post.
I have taken the information about the particular products, as well as the ingredients list from the companies website.

Be Barefaced Retinol Renewal Cream

Retinol renewal cream

I have just finished my first bottle of the moisturiser. At first, I was a bit put off by the scent of this product. However, I soon became accustomed to the fresh marine smell and have learnt to love it.

This moisturiser is really thick and luxurious. I have really enjoyed how nourishing it is. My skin has definitely been better since I’ve been using this moisturiser and hopefully it is keeping the wrinkles at Bay.

The cream is described by Be Barefaced as:

Our Retinol Renewal Cream harnesses the power of vitamin A. Boasting many anti ageing benefits, it’s a must for your skincare regime if anti ageing is on your priority list. What else does Be Barefaced do?

As well as an anti-ageing eye gel and cleansing balm, they also do face masks. I am really eager to try there avocado overnight mask as I prefer to put a mask on at night and then just sleep. They do a range of masks which will suit any skin problems and their masks have gained somewhat of a cult status.

They also do a range for people who suffer from acne. I’m fortunate enough not to suffer from acne anymore. However, judging by the quality of their other products; they will still be great quality. I like how this range is natural and free from parabens and sulphates. As many acne products are full of nasty chemicals, I would personally prefer a brand that is less harsh.

As I have said before I would highly recommend this brand. If you are after a natural alternative then this is a great brand to try. You can find be bare faced through their website or through Amazon.

I hope you have enjoyed this brand focus post. This post is not sponsored and I purchased the items myself. I love the brand so much I wanted to shared their fabulous products with you all.

What skincare are you using at the moment do any of the products above interest you?
Ciao for now beauties xx
