My Ten Minute Makeup Look; video tutorial

What can you do in ten minutes? Could you do the ten minute makeup challenge? This challenge has been around in the makeup community for a while. The idea is to put on a full face of makeup in just ten minutes or under. I have been reflecting on the makeup I have been wearing…

Drugstore Brands; Five of my Favourites

My favourite drugstore makeup brands When it comes to makeup, my heart will always be at the drugstore. I do not believe in buying something simply for the name; a car still gets you from A to B no matter what the name it has. I also carry this value throughout my makeup collection. My…

Return of the Empties

Empties; return of the empties Do you get a sense of achievement when you use a product up or are you the type to mourn the item? Doing empties posts has made me realise that I like using up things. Perhaps this is because I feel like I get my true ‘monies worth’. Since I started ‘project…

The Psychology of my Makeup Addiction

I have got a problem Hi, my name is Mrs T and I have a makeup addiction. I would wake up in the morning and think about makeup, I would think about makeup while at work, I would even go to bed thinking about makeup. I was caught in a hamster wheel of foundations, eyeliners…

My Travel Makeup Bag

I am somewhat of a home bird, preferring the comforts of my own home rather than venturing to different places. Here Comes the Bridal Makeup

I never hired a makeup artist to do my wedding makeup, partly due to being on a budget, but mainly because I wanted to do my own makeup.

Project Pan; A Sign of Guilt?

I hit pan
I have had my Modern Renaissance palette by Anastacia Beverly Hills for about 8 month and I finally hit pan on one of the shades, I felt like I had won £2 pound on a scratch card or a free caramel frappe. My delight at using enough of the product that you can see a little bit of the metal pan was not thwarted by the fact that it was the cream shade (tempura) which is my most used colour as I set my primer with that or whatever cream shade I have handy.
