Autumn Eyeshadow Palettes; My Favourites

Autumn palettes

When it comes to makeup; autumn is the ultimate season. Autumn eyeshadow palettes are a delight for every makeup enthusiast. Autumn is my favourite season, I love many things about it. I would like to share with you the palettes that I will be using this autumn along with some palettes that are on my autumn wish-list.

Urban Decay Born to Run

This is the most recent addition to the Mrs T makeup collection. I have been on a no buy regime for the past four months and when I saw this, it was hard to resist. Hailed as the ultimate travel palette. Urban decay boast that this has everything you need to create a multitude of looks.

My first impressions is that it does not disappoint. I have been able to create a multitude of autumn looks using this palette and I still have so many possibilities left. This is perfect for autumn and winter as it has all the necessary shades and tones to create everything; smouldering smoky eyes, rich toned looks inspired by the tones of the season along with very simple, neutral looks.

Jeffree Star Androgyny palette

Jeffree Starr has gone from strength to strength. His makeup brand is now a global phenomenon and his recent video’s with Shane Dawson has revealed a side of him that has made fans love him more. I have quite a few of his liquid lipsticks and they are great quality. Last year I thought I would get the Androgyny palette and it has not disappointed.
I will confess that I have not used this for a while due to it not being inside my makeup box. However, this autumn I am determined to get this beauty out and create some beautiful autumn inspired makeup looks. Out of all the colours, Military, Poison and Swallow are the shades you would think I love. Yet, my heart leans to Fetish, Charm, Deja Vu and Frosting. These rich shimmer shades are perfect for the autumn; they make me feel as fierce as Jeffree Starr himself.

Revolution Mint Chocolate Bar Palette

First of all, this smells divine. I love the Revolution Chocolate Bar palettes as you get a great quality palette for a bargin price with the added bonus of it smelling great. This palette came out at the same time as the ABH Subculture palette and comparisons were quickly made. However, I would describe this as an alternative to the palette, rather than a straight up dupe. Samantha Jaelle goes through the similarities and differences between the two in her video.
This palette can take me through autumn and winter with ease. It has all the smouldering, smoky shades along with the golds and greens that make it perfect for the Christmas period. The Mint Chocolate Bar palette will be staying in my makeup box until the spring.

Revolution Iconic Division Palette

The Iconic Division palette is a dupe for the controversial ABH Subculture palette. However, this palette does not come with the hard to blend formula and ton of fallout. I have always loved that Revolution create dupes of high end palettes so that beauty is affordable to everyone. It is a worrying trend that makeup addicts believe they ‘need’ these overpriced palettes in order to create the looks that their beloved beauty gurus create.
Apart from the dark green shade, this palette is a dream to work with. It gives you the possibility to create edgy, more editiorial looks as well as looks for everyday. I always have fun creating looks with this palette and its deep tones make it a perfect autumn palette. Also at the price of four pounds, you cannot go wrong when buying this beauty of a palette.

Revolution Soph X palette

This is by far one of my favourite palettes. Created by YouTuber Sophie Does Nails in collaboration with Revolution makeup. The reason I love this palette so much is because of its possibilities. This palette is usable all year round and offers people such a fantastic ‘all in one’ experience.
If you are a beginner with makeup, then this is the palette that offers everything you need. Makeup experts, fear not; this offers so many brilliant tones and transition shades that will compliment the rest of your makeup collection. Whenever I am lacking inspiration for a makeup look I will always reach for this as I can conjure the idea for a look within seconds. This is my everyday, go to palette.

Makeup Geek eyeshadows

Makeup Geek is a phenomenal brand for eye shadows. The company, owned by Marlena Stell, is hailed as one of the first companies to revolutionise makeup palettes around the world. My favourite thing about Makeup Geek is that you only need to buy the eye shadow shades that you want, using a magnetic palette to hold them in. Another reason I adore this brand is the quality of them. Whenever I use my MUG shadows, I am always astounded by the blend-ability and the quality of every shade I own.

I have built up my collection over the years and have over fifty different shades across the spectrum. Having put myself on a ‘limited makeup spend regime’ I am digging all of my MUG shadows out and giving them some love. Having picked out a selection of shades to suit the season and popped them into a Revolution Pro magnetic palette. I love the range of greens, the smooth transition shades, golds and cherry shades.

Row 1 – High Tea, beaches and cream & Baby Face

Row 2 – Dirty Martini, Typhoon & Creme Brulee

Row 3 – Sea Mist, Epic, Tuscan Sun

Row 4 – Pixie Dust, Fuji, Cherry Cola

Row 5 – Ritzy, Preppy & Bitten

Row 6 – Shimma Shimma, Gold Digger & Roulette

Autumn Palette wish-list

Revolution x Tammi Tropical Paradise Palette

Tammi who created this palette is a fantastic YouTuber and one of my favourites. She is testament that smaller YouTubers can make an impact on the beauty community just as much as the bigger beauty gurus. This palette is inspired by her heritage ad family.

The deep, rich tones are perfect for autumn inspired makeup. I like how this has darker transition shades which means it is suitable for a wide range of people. I am holding out on purchasing it because I have so many palettes that I need to get some use out of. I will possibly add this to my Christmas wishlist.

Juvia’ s Place Mini Masquerade Palette

This palette has been on my wish list for several months. I already have the Juvia’s Place Zulu palette and love the quality of these eye shadows. These are all eye shadows that I already own in different palettes but I would love to have them together. I also like to support smaller makeup brands so getting another palette would be a great way to do it.

Urban Decay Celestial palette

Having just bought the Born to Run palette, I am not sure I can justify another big spend. However, the packaging and the colour selection of these eyeshadows have caught my eye and it is hard not to want to throw this beauty into my basket and click buy.

However, I am determined to be a smart shopper and wait till the reviews are out on this palette. I do not want to spend all of my hard earned cash on something that is not worth it.

Are any of these palettes calling out to you? I would love to know about what you will be using this autumn. If you have any recommendations for any other autumn palettes, or there are ones that you want me to review, just let me know in the comments.

Ciao for now beauties xx
