Three days, Three Quotes Challenge

The Three Days, Three Quotes Challenge

Quotes are a fabulous thing; they can inspire and motivate you through this hectic life. I often believe I am a walking book of quotes as I tend to use them throughout my life quite often. Maybe I am a walking cliche, but I find that quotes often help us see the other side of the argument. If you are battling with your inner critic, an inspiring quote can provide perspective and get you back on the path of happiness.

What is this challenge?

I was nominated by the wonderful dear blog… love Liz for this challenge and I jumped at the chance to do this as it was something different to the usual empties, hauls and rants I do here at Life With Mrs T.

I have decided to add an extra special twist to this challenge and include quotes that come from comic books. Comics are a long time love of mine and they indulge my creative nature so it was fitting to include these heroic quotes.

The Rules:

• Thank the person who nominated you.
• Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
• Share why this quote appeals so much to you.
• Nominate 3 different bloggers for each day.

Three days, three quotes challenge

Day one

Life does not give us purpose, we give life purpose. The Flash

I have found this quote more relatable the older I have become. Having endured many years on this planet and through practising mindfulness I have come to realise that I am just as worthy as everybody else. Appreciating that I have a lot to give life and the people around me; without me there would definitely be something missing.

Refusing to define myself by the roles I have been given in life; I am not just a mother, wife and teacher.  Being a person that believes that kindness and empathy are paramount to our survival, I aim to foster kindness throughout my life. I believe life is for living; for being in the moment and enjoying the world around us.

Not being driven by competition or the need to compete for perfection. I am perfect the way I am; my purpose in life is to be myself, as absurd as that may be. If I make people smile and laugh, I am happy. If I help them negotiate something in life, then even better. My purpose in life is to promote kindness and empathy through trying to be the best I can be. If I teach my children anything it is that kindness is king.

Today I would like to nominate
