I have been at it again, I saw an opportunity when buying children’s birthday presents to have a cheeky nip into Primark and have a gander at their makeup section.
Once upon a time
We have all enjoyed the odd fairy tale or three; it is part of most children’s upbringing to be surrounded by these tales of magic, adventure and love, but are they really good for us?
Makeup can be so disappointing sometimes
After doing my ‘5 Ride or Die products’ post recently, it got me thinking; what about the products that were a letdown? We all know this feeling; you buy a new product in eagerness, either due to the good reviews or the hype surrounding them, you get home and start giving it a test run, only to discover that the product is a complete flop
I feel like my lipstick addiction goes into overdrive as soon as autumn begins. I usually enjoy eyeshadow in the spring and summer and tend to go light on the lippy but as soon as the weather turns and September comes I am all for a bold lip.
As long as people are buying makeup, there will always be different trends that come and go. Some are welcomed with open arms and embraced while others are given a wide berth and avoided like the plague.
Nobody likes being ill; that grotty feeling where your body has a mind of its own, pain is abundant and you cannot function properly. We have all felt the vulnerability that being ill has brought into our lives, you are just not the same person.
Why bother with skincare?
I used to be well and truly a hot mess when it came to looking after myself, I still am to a certain extent. However, re-discovering my love of makeup made me take more notice of myself, especially in the area of skincare.

Put simply a ‘ride or die’ product is a thing that you cannot live without, it is a favourite. I have been a makeup addict for just over two years and I have tried my fair share of different makeup along the way, there are a few that have made such a good impression that they have stayed with me and become firm favourites.
